Marjorie’s Fund Board Members, Jason Baker (Founder) and Sandy Narayanan (Vice Chair) attended the 1st American Diabetes Association Middle East Congress “Diabetes Prevention and Treatment”, held in Dubai from December 4 – 6.

Marjorie’s Fund founder Jason Baker was in Rwanda from November 10 through the 17, partnering with the Rwandan Diabetes Association, Dr. Trevor Orchard and a team from the University of Pittsburgh, and Phil Sutherland of Team Type 1 (TT1), to implement vocational training programs for people with type 1 diabetes and provide education about managing type 1 diabetes. TT1 also did a race to improve awareness about type 1 diabetes.
